Never mind the creepy natives accompanying your group as 'guides' and their strange monkey-worshipping religion. Never mind the unexpected beast-thing that seems to be following one of the expedition groups around. Never mind the mysterious artifacts. Or the deaths.

This is an extremely hypothetical run, and it is not by any means sure that it is correct. But I (Justin du Coeur) have the game materials for a run of this game, undated, which I'm sure come from a long-ago run. I certainly was not around for any of the earliest runs previously recorded, and I'm fairly sure I played it before 2000.

Most importantly, my Miskatonic envelope contains my name badge for "Nicholas Shade", the character I played in Anime High School at Arisia '96.

Therefore, I hypothesize that Miskatonic also ran that same weekend, and that's when I played it.
