Long Description

"And there's a mighty judgment coming, but I may be wrong.

You see, you hear these funny voices in the Tower of Song."

-Leonard Cohen

Dark Tower of Song

Based on the music of Leonard Cohen mixed with the cosmology of the Stephen King Dark Tower series, this is a four hour, experimental mechanics, high-roleplay game that explores our connected journey through the Cycle of Destiny, one's place within the Songbooks, and the nature of the Wheel itself.

Each character will be rooted in a specific Leonard Cohen song. Players will portray either petitioners or arbiters in the Tower of Song with the opportunity to experience and share their past and futures together all taking place in a mysterious Tower, where unknown forces have gathered the characters to adjudicate their movement through the Cycle.

Knowledge of either Leonard Cohen or the Dark Tower is not necessary to fully participate in the game, and the authors acknowledge they are making new stories within the conceptual canon more than a literal adaptation of the material. As Stephen King might have said, "Different content, different ka."
