The World To Come

After the end of the world, small flecks of the old world gather to decide the shape of the new world will be and what forms they will take in it--as gods, as demons, and as divine beasts. But what shall happen when what they say should be in the world determines what they become?

Long Description

"The World To Come" is an experimental game about the creation of a new universe and the gods and similar beings who will populate it. Players will begin game as "motes," small remnants of the old world built during a brief workshop. During gametime, players will be asked to pick what things they wish to become part of the world and will receive character documentation (about a page worth, at a minimum of 3 or 4 points during the game) for the divine being they will become as they bring that thing into existence, changing the character substantially over the larp in ways not easily predictable. There will also be bidding on particular prizes and competition over who will become what, sometimes resulting in someone turning another player character into something new and different.
