It's your first Spring Break as a college student! You and your friends have decided to rent a beach house together and celebrate the old-fashioned way. The music is great, the booze are flowing, and everyone is gorgeous. What's a freshie to do?
Cake by the Ocean is a game about sex, specifically the type of sex you have when spending a week in a house with people your own age in a party atmosphere. Maybe it's sweet, maybe it's weird, maybe it causes you to question yourself, but it's definitely fraught and often spontaneous.
Players are college students on spring break in their rented house, partying it up. They know each other from school, though how well is up to them and the setup. At some point, two (or more) players will have sex. This might become an issue, or people might be happy for them. It’s a relatively small space, though, so drama is bound to come up.
Characters are created through a pre-game workshop that involves picking your major, deciding character traits, and a zany game of Boink Marry Kill. There will also be pre-generated character sheets for players to choose from if desired. There is no sexual touch that hasn't been prenegotiated.
