Life in the Valley of the Lilies is an idyllic pastoral dream, where the passing of the days is colored by the simple pleasures of good food and company, the joys of friendship, the magic of nature, the difficult but rewarding search for true love…

The Valley of the Lilies is also the setting of beloved anime series "Lilies of the Valley," ... but now, it's a lot more than that. Some of you have gone from being fans of the show to getting to play major parts. That's right, it's an isekai now.

…But is this really where you’re supposed to be? Are you sure this is the life you wanted? It’s New Year’s Eve tonight, and everyone has gathered at the shrine of the sacred guardian to light bonfires, make sanctified new years’ oaths, watch the alchemical firework show, and thank the spirits that protect this peaceful valley from the dangers of the outside world. It’s the perfect night for spinning new bonds, but you know, it’s perfect for burning old ones too…

Rebirth in the Valley of Lilies is a LARP for 12 players, inspired by isekai anime, transmigration fantasy, and fandom. What does that mean for you? It means you might be a person from the modern world transported into a realm of fantasy fiction with the opportunity to use your knowledge from the outside world - but you're now inhabiting a character from the story you used to know. Or, you might be a resident of this world, one who might notice if their friends and neighbors suddenly started acting strangely...

This is a tragicomic game about escapism, playing a part for someone else's sake, and coming to terms with your desires. The situations can be absurd, but the emotional stakes are very real.

The actual game should run for 2 hours, with extra time allotted for rules brief, optional post-game debrief, and potential delays.
