Long Description

Remember young one, if you are ever lost outside our forest, just tap your sparkly shoes together and say "There's no place like gnome.". ...Wait, did you just make the gnome/home pun? We said we were going to stop doing that one, it's just gnome again!

Gnome Larp (Gnarp) is a one hour horde larp for up to 10 players. ("Horde larp" means that some players will be portraying a "horde" by switching between mamy shorter roles during the game.) It attempts to be comedic. It is "lit form", as in: "this game will be lit" (this is a joke). You will play as either a gnome horde (gnorde) character, switching between many gnomes, or a non-gnome character. If playing gnome characters (gnaracters), you will have to read new (very short) character sheets / prompts during game, in addition to pregame reading. Gnome characters (gnaracters) may be one-dimensional. Gnome players (gnlayers) will also get the opportunity to make their own (short) gnome characters (gnaracters) during game. Non-gnomes will spend most of their time talking to gnome characters, trying to achieve their own unrelated objectives. Players are welcome to replay this game, but if you have already played this game you should sign up for a gnome horde (gnorde) role.

Content may include: puns, mistaken identities, fantasy species, cultural misunderstandings, strong negative feelings about gnomes, wordplay, strong positive feelings about gnomes, disrespectful characters, rhymes, singing, very silly gnomes, stupid hats, portmanteau, annoying voices, and characters being unable to differentiate between other characters.

There will be some player generated content, and we cannot guarantee anything about that content, though the intention is for this to be a light and silly game and any players acting counter to that definitely lose at Gnome Larp (Gnarp), a real thing that can happen.

If playing a gnome you will be required to wear a conical red paper hat. This will be provided, or you can bring your own.

Gnomes will also be required to sing a prewritten song.
