Choose One is a 2 player, 2 hr larp about being forced to make binary choices when we shouldn't have to. It is set in a near future with further advances in technology. It is a low transparency larp where players don't know what will happen during the larp.

Long Description

You wake up in a plain room. There is one other person there, also waking up. You don't think you know them. You don't remember coming here, going to sleep or even why you are here. A voice sounds from an unknown source. “Good morning”

Choose One is a 2 player, 2 hr larp about being forced to make binary choices when we shouldn't have to. It is set in a near future with further advances in technology. It is a low transparency larp where players don't know what will happen during the larp.

Players should expect:

• Their characters to find themselves in an impossible decision
• Meeting and getting to know the other character
• To experience frustration, a sense of unfairness, and anger at the situation
• To consider the value of various identities

The two characters are a binary cisgender man and a binary cisgender woman. Players of any gender may play either character, feel free to sign up with no preference if you don't care. Players who are uncomfortable playing the binary options are encouraged to contact Quinn to discuss options. While not specifically about queerness, people with experiences and identities outside what society dictates may find that aspects of this larp resonate.
