Scholomance: Gifted Children

Senior graduation is the deadliest bit of Scholomance education: you and your fellow classmates, newly minted mages all, have to fight your way through monsters to leave the school alive. You personally are privileged enough that you’ll get your pick of people fighting beside you — but with the clock ticking, can you and the other creme de la creme put together twelve teams capable of surviving a fatal final exam?

Senior graduation is the deadliest bit of Scholomance education: you and your fellow classmates, newly minted mages all, have to fight your way through monsters to leave the school alive. You're one of the lucky ones; an Enclaver, with a safe home to go to after school, you've got less lucky wizards beating down your door, offering to help you escape the Scholomance alive -- in exchange for a place in your Enclave, if they escape alive too. Problem is, while you'd really like to offer everyone places, your safe house -- your Enclave -- only has limited space. So you need to put together a team of the very best wizards to maximize your chances of leaving the Scholomance alive...

...and there are other Enclavers, of course. Who might recruit the less lucky wizards you were eyeing before you do.

You could all snipe each other, and waste precious resources backstabbing, or you could meet in the school library, and discuss the distribution of the less-lucky wizards like civilized beings. The plan, of course, is to do that second thing, but the lot of you are competing and of course you all have nightmares, fears and secrets...

'Gifted Children' is a larp for thirteen players, based on Naomi Novik's 'Scholomance' series. The larp will last for approximately 6 hours; character sheets will be distributed beforehand. Familiarity with Novik's 'Scholomance' series isn't required, but is almost certainly useful.
