“The Facility” is a live-action boffer LARP using the Accelerant system, inspired by both Urban Fantasy and Cyberpunk. This game will contain heavy combat, although we can make accommodations for limited mobility. Many of our characters have complicated mechanics but we will work to accommodate people of every skill level!

Okay, sure. Then you can find someone else crazy enough to join up with your suicide squad. :)

Fine. We’ve got a Shock and Awe team who’s bringing to bear heavy weapons (which is who recommended you to us), plus a group of infiltrators. And then you’ve got my team for Support. And then you for a hacker.

Sounds like a party.

Everyone knows the target. Referred to in the briefing only as “The Facility”, there’s a certain level of anonymity to protect everyone’s safety. What is known is that it’s a medical testing facility involved with a myriad of questionable medical experiments and research. Everyone has a different reason for being here. Something they’ve lost, something they’re hoping to find, or something they intend to do. But they’re going to find more than they expect. A strange mingling of technology and magic and even darker things await them; including, potentially discomforting mirrors of themselves.

This game will contain heavy combat, although we can make accommodations for limited mobility. Additionally, there is likely to be intense role-play and the potential for direct character conflict. Many of our characters have complicated mechanics but we will work to accommodate people of every skill level! Additionally we will have a small workshop before the game where we will go over the calls and the basics of the Accelerant system.

Content warnings [Note: while all these things all exist in game, not every character will deal with them extensively]: substance abuse, self-harm, violence, physical abuse, medical experimentation and torture, strong and vulgar language, objectification of sentient beings, loss of agency, emotional intensity including shouting/yelling etc, some mutually exclusive goals and potential for direct character conflict although this is not a directly CVC game.
