The Moonlight Valkyries have defended the eight Noble Moons from colonizers for centuries. The imperial flagship is on its way, and the Valkyries must compete in a tournament to see who will lead the charge to defend their home. You may all die tomorrow – so isn’t today the day to fix your love life?

Bleed for Anything is a 3-hour boffer-litform game for 8 players inspired by the TTRPG Thirsty Sword Lesbians. It features live combat in a round-robin tournament. This is a game about intimacy, devotion, and being a lesbian.

The Eight Noble Moons have been under siege by the imperialistic Threat for centuries. The Threat has (almost) never succeeded in its efforts, because the Noble Moons have a fool-proof defense system: the Moonlight Valkyries. Able to travel through space, generations of Valkyries wielding mythic swords have repelled invaders while mastering otherworldly powers and, consequently, gained a whole lot of emotional baggage. Now, the imperial flagship is on its way to the Noble Moons, and one of them must take up the Reginae Gladius and lead the charge.

The wielder of the Reginae Gladius must win against her fellow Valkyries in a tournament, and the interpersonal issues that have been plaguing the Valkyries are bubbling to the surface. After years of working together, the relationships that tie these heroes together are as complex as they are intimate. How do you manage your emotional turmoil while preparing to save the world? How do you deal with the only people in the world who could possibly understand you? And how do you navigate the waters of friendship, sex, and romance through it all?

You would do anything to save the world. But how do you save yourself?

Bleed for Anything is a 3-hour boffer-litform hybrid for 8 players inspired by The Locked Tomb, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and the TTRPG Thirsty Sword Lesbians. The game is structured around a round-robin style tournament and features live boffer combat. All characters use she/her pronouns and are lesbians with active romances in the game. Players should expect sword-fighting, feelings, sex in backstories, hard decisions, choose-your-own-adventures, light projects involving mechanics, and intense romance in the game (there are no “non-romance” characters in this game). This game is dramatic and intimate in tone but with some levity and comedic moments. It boldly asks the question: wouldn’t it be cool to scream about your feelings at someone while sword fighting?

Boffer weapons will be provided (all one-handed or bastard swords), and no outside boffer weapons may be used without GM approval. This game uses a bespoke boffer system somewhat similar to Accelerant, and a combat tutorial will be included at the start of the game. This combat system is very beginner-friendly, though experienced combatants may be more likely to win the tournament (but losing the tournament should not detract from the game experience).
