Long Description
There is a library beyond space and time, staffed by fictional characters brought to existence to withstand the strain of the space they occupy, and they’re having a bad day. Everything was progressing as usual, and then a spaceship from real space crashed into the library, which should be impossible.
The spaceship is also having a bad day, because having crashed into something means it cannot keep running from whatever has pursued it through the generations. Hopefully leaving reality as it’s understood will fix the problem? Clearly nothing worse than the massive damage will come from this? Surely they will be able to get some rest now?
Judge the Book is a game about spectrums of identity, fate, narrative, and changing times. Players will be either Librarians, pulled from their books and left to preserve the stacks, or spaceship crew pursued through history by a cosmic force they don’t understand. Players will explore, deep-dive, and discover what awaits them from the past, present, and future.
What are we supposed to do with the fairy tales in the math books, anyway?
