Long Description

This is a pastoral western, post-apocalyptic featuring the Multiverse's worst superheroes.

The multiverse is large and expansive beyond belief. Encompassing almost everything that could ever happen. It is an ever expanding, branching, complex web of fates and possibilities. However all things must come to an end, so a universe dies, when its place on the timeline erodes, and entropy claims it as it must claim all things, the detritis and castoffs that remain find themselves in the Void.

The Void is a lifeless barren place, more hostile than any terrestrial desert. In this place where all reality converges at the end of time itself, nothing is meant to survive. Most living entities never even make it here, dissolved in the miasma of this entropic realm’s atmosphere. Those that survive do so because of some power, some greater relative ā€œimportanceā€ to their universe shielding them, or just being too tough or stubborn to be erased. This this their final destination, their purgatory for failing to save their universe, or their ultimate reward for ending it. Others were sent here by the Time Variance Authority, pruned because of crimes such as meddling with the cannon events of their respective timelines.

Haven is a town built by some of these failures, castaways, and exiles. Survivors are those who, when faced with the impossible, find it in themselves to rise to the occasion. The town has been cobbled together from key structures dropped out of various fallen universes on a hilltop formed from the spine of a giant Celestial corpse. This diverse community of heroes, villains and outcasts from different worlds, with different values and ideals, all bound together by their mutual desire to not die. Under the leadership of President America, Stephen Ulysses Rogers, who founded this settlement by uniting many smaller groups of survivors, this community has withstood the horrors of the Void, creating sustainable sources of food and water, repelling and repelling raiders, as well as Alioth, the destroyer of all things. Many still hope to find some miraculous mcguffin that would allow them to escape from the Void and return home, but many others have come to accept that this is their life now.

The community now stands at a crossroads: President America has been murdered, and while the folks of Haven mourn, they must decide how to move forward and pick a new leader. Many are determined to find the murderer and bring him to justice. And on top of that, the shields that Keep Alioth at bay have failed, while the largest horde of raiders Haven has ever seen, gather their forces for a final assault on the town. Today was to be the World Warrior Tournament, in which the greatest warriors from this part of the Void were to compete in order foster stronger relations between Haven and neighboring outside groups. While some question the prudence of allowing outsiders into Haven at this vulnerable time, others insist that this is exactly the time to join with the outsiders since only new alliances can give Haven the strength it needs to overcome these threats.
