Long Description

As war approaches, some members of the Order of the Grove risk their lives to perform the Rite of Archival, letting the spirits of the long dead find peace. They must help the spirits resolve what is keeping them in this world while knowing they may not have much time to also resolve the issues of their own lives.

Library of the Dead is a three hour game about the things that tie us to this world and what we would do with our last moments. This is a game where the endings are bittersweet at best, and deals with death, remembrance, and resolution in the face of impending demise.

The players will be playing a current day member of the Order while having the spirit of a centuries old villager reside within them. They will know and feel everything that the spirit does, but not cede any control of their body unless actively allowed. There will be character workshops to help create/solidify character connections before game starts.
