A teen girl fight club larp about the homoerotic intimacy of violence and the rich inner lives of teenage girls inspired by the movie Bottoms and the tabletop roleplaying game Drink My Sweat.

In the words of a great philosopher “girl, it's so confusing sometimes to be a girl (girl, girl, girl, girl)” and being a teen doesn’t make it easier. The walls of Roosevelt High School feel like a place where nothing ever happens, yet it’s the most important thing in the world.

When you saw the flyer seeing Coach Dike was starting a self defense club, it stirred something in your soul. So here you are, in the gym on a Thursday afternoon, ready to do violence.

What is this game?

RHS Lady Wildcat Self Defense Club is a live action roleplaying game where you will play teen girls at the first meeting of your high school self defense club. You’ll do team building techniques, learn skills, and fight each other. Then you’ll help each other patch your wounds. And maybe, in the process, you’ll discover something about yourself and your classmates, and maybe you’ll even fall in love.

Fighting will be done through slow motion bullet time fighting. Before the fights you’ll negotiate what is off limits and what is fair game. At any point you can tap out. Through this, you will negotiate contact and touch with your paired partner.

After fights, you and your partner will bandage each other up, apply ice packs, and take care of each other.

This is a game that treats teenage girls as both a ridiculous thing to be, and the most serious thing in the world. Anyone of any gender in any body is invited to play this game, so long as you are comfortable embodying a teen girl with the respect they deserve.
