In a world very much like ours today, finding companionship is tougher than ever. Loneliness runs rampant after a global pandemic forced everyone into isolation. Though the world is back open and bustling, it still feels challenging to meet people and near impossible to find love.

Well, the organic kind of love.

MetaMatch, a tech startup, has promised that it can provide a different kind of love: one algorithmically proven to find your soulmate in the most efficient manner. The company offered a moderate stipend to any adventurous singles looking to find their perfect match through their program.

You, along with eleven other participants, signed up for their open beta test. You have no idea what to expect. All you know is that you're desperate to love and be loved.

Every Moment Matters is a 3-4 hour parlor larp for 10-12 players set in a world where romantic relationships have a predestined expiry date. Players portray individuals looking for love, each with their own unique struggles, expectations and desires. No character is perfect, and some pairings will be messy. Inspirations include "Hang the DJ" and "San Junipero" from Black Mirror, "Love Island", "Perfect Match" and other similar love-centric dating shows. No knowledge of any source material is required.

Some characters have gender and sexuality integral to their portrayal, but most have gender-neutral names, pronouns, and a flexible sexuality. This game is about trying to find love and romance in a confusing world. If you don't like romance in LARP, this game is likely not for you.
