Triptych

by Kristen Patten, Kevin Gordon, Rachel O and Jerry S

"You woke up this morning to all your usual problems: the "friend" who you know is trying to oust you, that seedy guy who's not likely to wait another week for his money, the argument with your sister about what will happen after your uncle passes... And like usual, you're haunted by the sense that there's a whole other set of problems-- a whole other life-- that you just can't quite remember. And you can't shake the sinking feeling that the person that means the most to you is stuck in that dream-life, not where think you are now."

Triptych is three parallel (but interdependent) larps running on separate floors of the same building, exploring themes of what it means to not know if the things you hold most dear are even real. Characters will be both dealing with "real" political and interpersonal problems as well as trying to reconcile the connections between the floors. The three settings are: Venice at Carnivale, Vampires in the Modern Day, and the Post-Apocalyptic Future
