Virtuous men and women do not choose the worship of Thanatar, and so the temple is a rogues' gallery of fanatic headhunters, cruel murderers, sorcerers, thieves and madmen. There are emissaries from the other temples of Chaos come to the festival, as well as spies and even a few unwilling "guests" of the temple.

One thing may be guaranteed with such a gathering: the holidays will be ones to remember.
