The Wait
The vampire meeting is tonight, and as one of the humans that serves the living dead, you’ve been placed in a room for safekeeping (and easy access) until they're done. But hey, there are other humans here; you may even know some of them. While the top of the food chain is busy sniping at each other and casually destroying lives, you’re all stuck in here with each other for company and nothing to do but wait.
A freeform larp about surviving in overwhelmingly oppressive systems and how people use what little power it grants them.
Long Description
Tonight is the night. Every decade, vampires meet to discuss important matters, settle grievances, and indulge in social predation. The effects of the evening will be felt for the following decade to come, maybe even longer. Vampires live for centuries and the grudges they hold can last just as long.
You’re not part of that. You’re one of the humans that serves the living dead. You have been conditioned to love your vampire and serve them above all, and your need for their approval can range from that of a kitten wanting attention to a hungry addiction, often within the same relationship. Your vampire almost certainly commits atrocities, but in the end, you trust their judgment, and your love for them stays true. The idea of leaving them is abhorent to you.

An emergent larp in the slow larp genre: gameplay focuses on interactions between the characters, aiming to center the small interactions and conversations that become heavy with meaning. It offers potentials instead of plots, and along with minimal mechanics, serves as a vehicle for players to collaborate on a story while deeply immersing themselves in characters.
As a note, all characters should be assumed to be some flavor of LGBTQ and a few on the asexuality spectrum.
Schedule is 45 minutes for fleshing out character ties and history, 3 hours of gameplay, and 15 mins debrief.
